We have many years of experience in helping Norwegians and other tourists with health care in medical offices and hospitals in Gran Canaria. We speak Norwegian, Spanish, English and German.
Who are we?
Hege Strømsnes
She has worked in a norwegian clinic in Gran Canaria since november 2014. She studied medicine at the University of Tromsø in north of Norway (UNN) She has worked in the surgical department at the university hospital in Tromsø, and now she is specializing in GP. She has worked in several clinics in north of Norway and in ambulance services. She also has worked with Behandlingsreiser (Gran Canaria), treating children with asthma, atopic eczema and allergic problems. She is approved as a seaman's salesman for seafarers and authorized petroleum doctor.
As a doctor, she looks forward to receive patients from all places.
She is also Ph.D. in chemistry of the university of Tromsø.
Elena Nanaa
She leads and owns Det Norske Legesenteret Gran Canaria (Centro Médico Noruego) together with Hege Strømsnes. She is born in Las Palmas and speaks fluent spanish, norwegian and english. She has studied in Næringsakademiet in Oslo, the university in Kristiansand and the university in Las Palmas. She has worked within the health service for 17 years, several years at hospitals and private clinics, in hotel receptions, a norwegian travel agency in Gran Canaria and in kindergartens. Most important is what she represents in quality and secure service for the patients.
Britt Christensen
She is norwegian and has lived in Gran Canaria for more than 30 years. She is an authorized nursing assistant and medical secretary, and she has worked in Hospiten Roca and other private clinics in Gran Canaria for 25 years. She has long experience with helping patients of all nationalities. She speaks norwegian, spanish, english and german. She is a very helpful and a positive person, and does her job always with a smile. A lot of patients know her well and know they are in good hands when she attends them.
